Great experience

I called Atlas Door Repair yesterday afternoon and they showed up today around Noon. They showed up when they said they were going to and he was straight forward in what he was going to do and what needed to be done. He fixed our door during business hours, he was respectful towards our inbound and out bound customers and apologized for being in the way. We had multiple people come out and quote the job for 3 times what Atlas cost to do the same job. The other companies wanted to replace the entire working elements of our door systems when all that needed to be done was fix a push rod extension and realign the locking device. I will continue to use this company for all of our future door needs.

Atlas Door Repair in Indianapolis

Called and scheduled service 3 different times and no one showed up...called back to dispatch and was placed on hold for 25 mins. and thought I could wait them out....no go though. I suspect that they did not like the fact that I wanted a quote before beginning the job. Appears to be a pricing scam outfit in my opinion. Talked to three different service people who all agreed to show up on a given day and they just disappeared. Do not know how they can stay in business and not follow up with scheduled appointments. Not a reputable business in my opinion.

No call no show

I called in to get an estimate on a broken door on my condo. I was told I will have an estimator come out within a week. Never got a call back. I contacted them again and asked what happened they said they will send someone out asap. I called back again after a few days, the gave me a lame excuse they would contact me within the remainder of week. Now I need to get this fixed it is entry door to my unit which I explained to them. They never bothered to call me back or follow up or send anyone out. This is supposed to be a reputable company. My advice is to stay far away from a company who does not care about their customers. Not even a phone call saying we goofed up. Very unprofessional. I will never consider them doing any work in the future.

ATLASDOORREPAIR.COM - SCAM!

We called Atlas Door Repair for a commercial repair on our front doors. The tech (who also happens to be the Regional Manager) was misleading on the "service charge" - on our phone call, he provided a dollar amount to provide a quote, but when he arrived he said "sometimes you have to work on it to figure it out". We were taken aback, but decided to go ahead and try this company as I needed to get the repair done. The tech stated it would be a 1 hour charge to complete the door motor install. Then, he said he needed to "troubleshoot" the motor issue (why give us a firm time frame when you don't actually know how long it will be???). Four hours later, he claims the job is complete. The door was working, so we believed him. Later, we found out he not only left the SAME motor in the door, but he just replaced some hardware AND installed it incorrectly! The door motor failed again with a week. On top of this, he billed us $500.00 for the job. When we called him back, he said he would need to charge us another "trip charge" to come back and troubleshoot the same job. They did NOT offer a 1 year warranty on services or repairs. We called another door company to fix the door the second time, and they had the job complete in 1 hour with no issues. Stay away from this company at all costs or it will cost you! DO NOT CALL OR WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY!

Gee it is real a real mystery that all of a sudden 7 people comment that Atlas Door is not a scam company and even attacking the person who gave the original report. And all with in 10 days (they must have gotten tired after that) WOW what a coincidence. It's almost like a scam company scamming the complaint blog. I have had a similar bad experience with Atlas door and I told them to pack up and leave,I was not playing there scam game, beware of this company :eek

I encourage AAF to contact our corporate office and provide the invoice number as our region is unable to authenticate the alleged service provided as described in your complaint.

Free phone estimates are provided upon request. These free estimates are based on symptoms as described by our customers prior to arriving at the work site.

Technicians, including myself, verbally advise potential clients there is a one hour minimum service charge if clients choose to use our services.

Often when technicians’ arrive at the work site the actual problem may be more complex than what was described. This necessitates additional trouble shooting to analysis the actual cause of the problem and may require additional work above and beyond the FREE estimate.

Additional work beyond the one hour minimum is only performed on equipment after receiving authorization from our client.

Our goal is to repair or replace at the least cost to our customers. Our company has built its business on repeat customers by providing excellent customer service at an affordable price!

The only reason I am bothering to waste any more of my time discussing a company that screwed our business over is because I want to ensure that we are in no way "scammers", "MORANS", or "wearing diapers", as Mr. Ledfte seems to believe.

We are simply exercising our right to free speech to share how we were burned by Atlas Door Repair. This is not to say that other people cannot have a pleasant experience with them; if that were the case, they probably would have gone out of business by now. HOWEVER, the experience we had with the representative that came to provide us with a "FREE" ESTIMATE that ended up costing $500.00 was NOT a good one. From what I understand, free is equal to zero dollars.

Instead of giving an estimate, he "worked" on the door WITHOUT our approval. I am a busy man and do not have time to pay my employees to babysit a repair company, so we took his word and left him to his devices for the 4 hours it took before he approached me again. When he finally did, he had made the decision himself to install a piece of hardware and claimed the door was fixed. We did not give him permission to do this.

He then billed us $500.00. Again, as I stated originally, the door was broken within 1 week. I took a look at it myself (again Mr. Ledfte, I work on much more than "patchwork quilts") and could clearly see the hardware he installed was not done correctly.

He tried to charge us a trip fee to come back to look at something he was supposed to have fixed already.

We ended up calling another, more competent company, who took a quick look, realized what the problem was (not even close to what Atlas Door Repair diagnosed), quoted us a very fair price, and FINISHED THE JOB CORRECTLY WITHIN 1 HOUR.

I think it's pretty clear what happened here, but use your own judgement.

I have never had anything but the best experience with Atlas Door Repair. They have been on time and I have always felt that the cost was very appropriate to the job being done.

I believe that someone does not really know what is going on. I actually saw this posted several places on the internet, it is obviously someone who just has it in for the company.

I have been using Atlas Door Repair for many years and have never had anything but the best service.

They are on time, quick and efficient, and never the cost is beyond reasonable. Anyone with a business should keep their number handy.

I can totally understand how a Moran who knows nothing about repairing anything can be overwhelmed or "taken aback" on anything except patchwork quilts. I have used Atlas Door repairs and I have used other locksmiths too.

As shop owners we know about our doors when there broke, any other time we ignore them, sad but true. What this *** is describing is what every door company or repair person does when they are figuring out what’s wrong!! I have also never heard of a scam where they work on your door for five hours and charge you accordingly. A scam is where they charge you 500.

And don’t work on your door at all and dis-appear!! Time to change your diaper AAF!

I have been using Atlas Door for years at my flower shop and they are amazing. Always on time, prices are much cheaper than other companies in Orlando.

My automatic door has it's components on the inside as well and has to be taken apart to figure out what the problem is.

That manager has always been great, never charged us extra for warranty. I have recomended them to many fellow business owners and they seem to be as happy with them as I'm
